Hi! I’m Olivia!
Thank you for visiting my little corner of the world! Here’s a little about who I am and what I’m about.
My primary role in life right now is working as a mother to two sweet boys and a wife to an easy going man. I recently stepped away from my career as a hairdresser to focus on raising my sons Harris Deane (3) and Levi (1). While I absolutely loved working behind the chair, I am enjoying the challenges and triumphs of this new phase. I’m learning as I go, and looking for the good in it all!
I decided to start this blog after I gave a presentation on minimalism a while ago. I was overflowing with even more passion about it than usual, and I decided to create this as a space to share my thoughts on the lifestyle. I wanted an outlet to share my thoughts on minimalism and motherhood outside of the usual social media platforms. I am far from an expert, but I love talking about integrating minimalist concepts into family life, and I’m excited to share it with you.
All my thoughts and decisions are impacted by my love for my children, my passion for minimalism, my quest to live intentionally, and my desire to live out the love that Jesus Christ taught. I am a work in progress, and I’m constantly learning new ways to refine my home, routines and rhythms, and the life of my mind. You’ll see a lot of that in what I talk about here. On this blog I’ll post about the benefits of a minimalist lifestyle, how I live with an edited wardrobe, and how I’m simplifying my home and life, in order to make room for things with lasting value. In addition, there will be a bunch of posts about my kids. Let’s be real, those kids are what I’m thinking about 90% of the time; I can’t stop myself from talking about them!
Thank you for following along!
